The NC classification is defined as a neighborhood serving mixed-use pedestrian scale environment where residents can comfortably shop for their daily needs. Emphasis is placed on the creation of a high quality pedestrian environment by means of attractive storefronts and a pleasant streetscape. Buildings incorporate active ground level uses providing a natural connection to the street through the tree-shaded sidewalks and storefront awnings, canopies and arcades. Consistent Zoning Districts
