The Neighborhood Grants Advisory Board was created by Resolution No. 2002-M-47. The resolution was adopted by the Board of County Commissioners on November 5, 2002.
Membership:
Seven members appointed by the Board of County Commissioners.
Member Types:
Term Of Office:
The term of office for five of the initial members shall be for two years, the term of office for two of the initial members shall be for one year, and the term of office for one of the initial members shall be for three years.
Powers and Duties:
The board will review and approve criteria and application forms for each neighborhood grant program created under the Neighborhood Preservation & Revitalization Division,oversee the application review process, approve recommended grant recipients, hear any appeals from grant applications regarding failure to award or loss of award, monitor the progress of grant recipients, and submit an annual report to the Board of County Commissioners.
