Section 8 Information

The Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8) and the Tenant Based Rental Assistance (TBRA) are federally funded rental assistance programs administered by the Housing and Community Development Division. The programs provide very low income households with subsidized housing.

Persons who qualify for assistance are issued a housing voucher and authorized to find a housing unit that meets the needs of the family and requirements of the program.

For New Landlords:

Landlord Briefings are held on the third Wednesday of each month from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and are limited to 10 participants per session. If you have an active Request for Tenancy Approval (RTA) for an OCHCD client and registration is full, please contact the Housing Assistant listed on the RTA packet to inquire about availability in an upcoming session and register for one session only. Space is limited, so landlords should only reserve a session they are able to attend.

If no session is available, please continue to monitor the website for future availability.

Landlords Who Have Already Attended: If you have previously attended an Orange County Housing Landlord Briefing, you do not need to attend another briefing to list a property.

Complete the Landlord Property Submittal Form.
Attach your Landlord Briefing Certificate.
There is no guarantee a tenant will select their unit.
Email the completed form and certificate to Samantha.Martinez@ocfl.net.

Property Listings
Listings are posted for 30 days or until Orange County Housing is notified that the unit is no longer available.
Prospective tenants contact landlords directly. Orange County Housing does not guarantee that a tenant will select a listed unit. Landlords are responsible for screening prospective tenants.
