UTILITIES MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt 

General Functions
   Coordinates maintenance activities by scheduling work activities to maintain facilities in efficient operating condition, reviews work performed by a variety of trades, responds to emergency situations to correct operating problems in a timely fashion. Work performed is generally routine technical work coordinating one or two crews. Work requires independent judgment under the general supervision of a designated supervisor.
 
Representative Duties /Assignments
  
  • Some knowledge of computer based maintenance programs (Shopfax/Maximo).
  • Overseeing maintenance and repair of heavy equipment and automotive.
  • Ordering parts and supplies and keeping accurate records.
  • Scheduling personnel.
  • Tracking payroll hours and the submittal of timesheets.
  • Contributing information for evaluations and disciplinary actions as needed.
 
Minimum Qualifications
   Graduation from high school or equivalent and four years of experience to be specified by the department; or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.

Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License.

May be required to possess and maintain a valid Commercial Driver’s License based on area of assignment.

Based on area of assignment, may be required to possess and maintain the appropriate certification or license.
