This key working coordinator position leads and supports custodial operations of the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) to ensure the cleanliness and readiness of meeting rooms, exhibit halls, restrooms, and public spaces. The role contributes to maintaining the standards of the Center of Hospitality (CoH) and preventing service disruptions during high-volume event operations.
Work is performed with considerable independence under the supervision of the Assistant Section Supervisor in Environmental Services. Performance is reviewed through observations, reports, and results achieved.

| Representative Duties /Assignments |
| |
Duties may vary based on area of assignment. The following are representative duties; it is not the intent to capture all duties performed by this classification.
- Supports Assistant Supervisors with providing direct supervision and managing temp agency staffers and on-call employees in direct support of events hosted by OCCC.
- Coordinates and monitors tasks assigned to custodial crews per daily schedules.
- Monitors radio traffic and responds to changes in event-related activities.
- Assists with floor cleaning (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing) as needed.
- Assists with cleaning of glass, walls, furniture, restrooms, and public spaces.
- Assists in the preparation of crew schedules for event work orders.
- Leads and participates in cleaning of meeting rooms and exhibit hall spaces per event requirements.
- Ensures assigned work meets the Center of Hospitality (CoH) standards.
- Provides guidance to assigned staff and ensures timely completion of tasks.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

| Minimum Qualifications |
| |
High school diploma or equivalent and three (3) years of experience in custodial, janitorial, or sanitation services. An equivalent combination of relevant education or experience may be substituted.
Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License. |

Experience in custodial, janitorial, or sanitation services in a convention center, hotel, or arena environment. |
