SENIOR MONITORING & EVALUATION COORDINATOR

FLSA Status: Exempt 

General Functions
   Administers and coordinates the strategic planning and evaluation of programs and services. This position is responsible for the development of models of service delivery and program practices through research, evaluation and analyses. Responsible for recommending the continuation/discontinuation of programs and services based on evaluation and review.

This position requires independent judgment and initiative and is performed under the general supervision of an assigned supervisor.
 
Representative Duties /Assignments
   Duties may vary based on area of assignment:
  • Coordinates the development of compliance and performance plans, which establishes procedures for reviewing programs and projects.
  • Ensures programmatic, administrative, and case records meets established standards of practice.
  • Performs program monitoring for assigned agencies and completes all required reports. May conduct site visits of assigned service categories/agencies.
  • Ensures program is using an adequate service delivery model for assigned agencies and/or service categories.
  • Reviews for quality control, operational efficiency and program accountablity processes to facilitate program monitoring and evaluation.
  • Serves as a primary liaison and point of contact between the program and assigned contracted agencies.
  • Administers contracts for assigned agencies and/or service categories.
  • Provides training, technical assistance and support to assigned entities. Ensures service provider's compliance with federal, local regulations and contractual requirements.
  • Participates on work related committees, setting meetings and performing needs assessments as required.
  • Collaborates with fiscal section to monitor contract performance.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
 
Minimum Qualifications
   Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Public or Business Administration, Social Sciences or closely related field and three years of experience in program planning and development or evaluation; or an equivalent combination of education or experience.
