| General Functions |
| |
Responsible for overseeing the nursing staff of Corrections Health Services and assuring consistent quality care is provided to the inmate population of the Orange County Jail. |

| Representative Duties /Assignments |
| |
- Directs and oversees all activities of the nursing staff assuring adequate staffing coverage.
- Responsible for successful operations of each clinical unit, ensuring quality care is provided to the patients.
- Responsible for administrative functions including staff development, teambuilding, recruitment and hiring, performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
- Collects, analyses and reports statistical data including overtime, FML use, Agency budgets and hours. Reports findings and makes recommendations to Division management.
- Performs other duties of a comparable level as assigned.

| Minimum Qualifications |
| |
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Nursing or related field and five years nursing experience to include two years in a supervisory capacity.
Must possess current Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida |
