| General Functions |
| |
Performs specialized work in the installation of various types of pavement marking materials usually assigned to a crew and supervised by a Foreman I. Occasionally assignments are given by a Foreman II or Sign Shop Supervisor. Assignments may include small, independent projects and responsibility for directing a Pavement Marking Installer I. |

| Minimum Qualifications |
| |
High school graduation or equivalent and one year experience installing pavement marking materials.
Must obtain certification as a Level I Traffic Sign and Markings Technician by the International Municipal Signal Association within six months of hire.
Knowledge of the different types of pavement marking materials and handling of hazardous materials used in pavement marking.
Must be willing and able to perform strenuous manual labor under adverse weather conditions.
Required to possess and maintain the appropriate valid Commercial Driver's License for the type of equipment operated.
