OPERATIONS & ENVIRONMENTAL SCHEDULER

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt 

General Functions
   Coordinates Fleet Environmental and Resource Recovery programs and Scheduled Maintenance programs for County vehicles and equipment.
 
Representative Duties /Assignments
  
  • Maintains and develops new fuel conservation plan elements and reporting systems in conjunction with Fuel System Supervisor.
  • Develops and maintains the Fleet Scheduled Maintenance program for vehicles and equipment.
  • Coordinates and maintains Fleet Management environmental compliance, registration, and records program.
  • Conducts research, data collection, and analysis of information for use in reports, presentations, and meetings.
  • Coordinates Fleet Management Resource Recovery Program.
  • Establishes and maintains master records, registration of title certificates, and license tags for vehicles; assigns County equipment numbers.
  • Coordinates receipt of new rolling stock and disposal of surplus rolling stock.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
 
Minimum Qualifications
   Graduation from high school or equivalent and five years of equipment maintenance experience or equipment management and computer experience or an equivalent combination of experience and post-secondary education.
Preference may be given to applicants with experience or education in environmental science or environmental safety.
