REAL ESTATE COORDINATOR

FLSA Status: Exempt 

General Functions
   Responsible for the workflow and processing of real estate work requests for the Division including conducting research, analysis, report generation, and coordinating and managing projects.

Work is performed with considerable independence and the exercise of independent judgment under the supervision of an Assistant Division Manager or the Division Manager. Performance is reviewed through observations, reports and results achieved.
 
Representative Duties /Assignments
   The following are representative duties, it is not the intent to capture all duties performed by this classification.
  • Reviews and approves all incoming work requests. Conducts research and collaborates with user agencies to finalize work requests.
  • Assigns work requests to Division staff. Provides guidance and training on work request workflows and processing.
  • Performs data analytics and generates reports as needed.
  • Develops, reviews and drafts updates as needed to the Division's workflows for its tracking software and standard operating procedures to ensure efficiency and relevancy.
  • Supervises the maintenance of all project files (electronic and hard copy) for each program of the Division and determines when project files are complete and directs administrative staff on file closure and processing to records management.
  • Acts as a backup to Program Manager and Assistant Manager to update the Division's tracking software to reflect changes in workflow.
  • Provides strategic thought leadership in partnership with the Assistant Division Manager or the Division Manager on initiatives, special projects and research.
  • Collaborates and builds relationships with Division managers and other County staff, attorneys, consultants, property owners and vendors to accomplish Division projects.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications
       Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and four (4) years of experience in project/program management. Additional years of experience may be substituted for the required degree on a year-for-year basis.
     
    Preferences
       Real Estate Certifications: International Right of Way Association (IRWA), PMI, Escrow Agent or Paralegal Experience with Monday.com, GIS, YARDI and/or other project management or land management software
