SENIOR ENTERPRISE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

General Functions
   Monitors and performs higher technical tasks on multiple computer systems, provides Service Center support, and maintains and monitors voice data for internal Orange County customers.

Work is performed under supervision of the Enterprise Operations Supervisor or their designee and is evaluated on accuracy, efficiency and achievement of desired results.
 
Representative Duties /Assignments
  
  • Monitors multiple computing center systems and job processing based on customer and operational requirements.
  • Investigates operational errors to determine cause and refers problems with possible solutions to supervisor. Takes appropriate corrective action to ensure timely completion of all scheduled work on various computer systems.
  • Interacts with development, technical, customer services and other computing hardware and software services staff personnel in problem analysis and resolution.
  • Provides production control, Service Center and telecommunications services during and after normal working hours, weekends, and holidays.
  • Assists the Support Center Representative during normal business hours.
  • Monitors regular scheduled Enterprise backups on multiple platforms.
  • Performs computer peripheral equipment preventative maintenance in accordance with establisher procedures on a daily and as required basis.
  • Participates in technical writing of procedures for operational requirements.
  • Ensures security and safety of the computing center facility by monitoring security cameras, physical presence on data center floor and maintaining related access logs and records.
  • Participates in the Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Plan.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
 
Minimum Qualifications
   High School diploma or equivalent and two years of experience in the operation of medium to large scale computer systems to include one year master console experience.

Possess and maintain A+, Network+ and Server+ or other industry equivalent level certification.

Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License by date of hire.
