| General Functions |
| |
Responsible for the operation and maintenance in a client server environment for the department's LAN/WAN. Work is performed with considerable independence under the direction of the Division Manager or designee. |

| Representative Duties /Assignments |
| |
- Responsibilities include network hardware/software installation, performance tuning and network component integration.
- Performs various network health checks and verifies connectivity.
- Diagnose, prioritize and troubleshoot problems to ensure network service levels are met.
- Provides training assistance to end-users.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

| Minimum Qualifications |
| |
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field and two years of experience with computer networks, or an equivalent combination of relevant education, training, certification and experience. |
