CONSENT AGENDA COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR 1ยท8 CITIZENS' REVIEW PANEL FOR HUMAN SERVICE~ MMRB Liaison: Dr. Lavon Bracy, {407} 399-9587 MISSION Evaluates, recommends, and monitors Orange County's and the City of Orlando's allocation of funding to non-profit human service agencies and reviews needs assessmenUtargeted community studies and United Way panel recommendations in order to make funding recommendations to the Community Funding Forum. STATUS OF VACANCIES This is a 36-member board with 24 members appointed by Orange County. There are currently five vacancies: one in the economically distressed representative category due to the resignation of Pedro Padua, three in the at large representative category due to the resignations of Erin Nurse, Edwin B. Harvey, and Bonnie Y. Morales, and one in the at large member. in training representative category due to the resignation of Clinton Jackson. THE MMRB RECOMMENDS: Consideration of the reappointment of Mark A. Arias, Shirley A. Walker Hightower, and Tiffany S. Dziekan in the at large representative category with terms expiring December 31, 2017; the appointment of Frank Blanco to succeed Pedro Padua in the econorriically distressed . representative category with a term expiring December 31,2015; the appointment of Courtney E. Karem to succeed Erin M. Nurse and Maribel Gomez-Cordero to succeed Bonnie Y. Morales in the at large representative category with terms expiring December 31,2017; the appointment of Elizabeth Nelson to succeed Edwin B. Harvey in the at large'representative category with a term expiring December 31, 2015; and the appointment of Shannon K. Brown to succeed Clinton Jackson, Cindy Underwood to succeed G. Sean Sandiford, and Samia Solh to succeed Isa Dora Dean in the at large member in training category with terms expiring December 31, 2017. Note: Current at large members in training Corey L. Douglas, G. Sean Sandiford, and Isa Dora Dean will now be serving the at large representative category, succeeding Dr. Sylvia T. Caceres, Ron Landon, and Ralph Martin, respectively, with terms expiring December 31, 2017. 34
