Approval of the check register authorizing the most recently disbursed County funds, having been certified that same had not been drawn on overexpended accounts. (Finance/Accounting) Page 13 3. Approval to adopt a revision to the Orange County Comptroller's Investment Policy. An annual review of the policy is required by Florida law. The only change is a new title to the State investment pool for local government. (Administration) Page 13, 68-92 B. COUNTY SHERIFF 1. Approval and execution of the U.S. Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) 2010 Bulletproof Vest Partnership Grant in the amount of $57,105 with a matching fund requirement of $57,105. The total program budget is $114,210 for project period April 1, 2010 through September 30, 2012. (Grants) Page 93-95 CONTINUED ·Pursuant to Section 209 of the Orange County Charter, as amended on Nov. 4, 2008, the Board of County Commissioners must set aside at least 15 minutes at the beginning of each regular meeting for citizens to speak to the Board on any matter of public interest under the Board's authority and jurisdiction, regardless of whether the public issue is on the Board's agenda, but excluding matters that are not appropriate for public discussion, such as pending procurement or land use issues.
