SUBJECT: Award of Invitation for Bids Y18-1076-AV, Repair of Synthetic Liners at the Landfill
ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval to award Invitation for Bids Y18-1076-AV, Repair of Synthetic Liners at the Landfill, to the
low responsive and responsible bidder, Comanco Environmental Corporation, for an estimated
contract award amount of $276,650 for a 1-year term. Further request authorization for the
Procurement Division to renew the contract for four additional 1-yearterms.
PROCUREMENT:
To provide liner repair services for the Solid Waste division. Services covered by this contract
include bottom and closure liners at the landfill.
FUNDING:
Funding is available in accounts 4410-038-1021-3197, 4410-038-1086-9256, 4410-038-1099-
9256, and 4410-038-1081-9256.
APPROVALS:
The Solid Waste Division and Business Development Division concur with this recommendation.
REMARKS:
Two bids were received in response to this Invitation for Bids and were evaluated for
responsiveness, responsibility, and price reasonableness. Comanco Environmental Corporation
has a satisfactory record of performance and is considered responsible. Prices have been
determined reasonable as compared to current contracted pricing. Therefore, award is
recommended to Comanco Environmental Corporation.
