On November 15, 2005, the Board of County Commissioners approved an interlocal
agreement between Orange County and the Property Appraiser for a Field
Verification and Street-View Imaging Project spanning three years with a total project
cost of $1,000,000. The initial project schedule provided for disbursements of
$400,000 in FY 2005-06, $400,000 in FY 2006-07, and $200,000 in FY 2007-08.
Concurrent with the approval, the Board authorized the disbursement of $400,000 for
the first year of the project as provided in the FY 2005-06 adopted budget. Due to
the considerable progress made to date and the significant benefits already realized
by this project, the Property Appraiser has requested that funding for the second and
third year of the project ($400,000 and $200,000 respectively, for a total of $600,000)
be moved up to the current fiscal year.
CIP amendment #06C-9186 and the associated budget transfer #06C-9186
accomplish the funding transfers necessary to enable full funding of the Field
Verification and Street-View Imaging Project in FY 2005-06.
ACTIONREQUESTED: Approval of CIP amendment #060-9186 and budget
transfer #060-9186 that provide for full funding of the
Field Verification and Street-View Imaging Project in
FY 2005-06, and authorization to disburse the
remaining $600,000 to the Property Appraiser by
August 15, 2006.
NOTE TO THE CLERK: Please return one copy of this agenda item along with
the accompanying CIP amendment and budget
transfer to OMB upon approval by the BCC.
