SUB...IECT: Consent Agenda Item for March 15, 2011 Budget Amendment #11-31, Fund #8112 and Fund #8113, FY 2011 Petroleum Clean-Up Program Contract/Grant/Agreement #GC-628 and #S0484 Environmental Protection Division/Community and Environmental Services On June 26, 2001, the Board of County Commissioners approved a nine (9) year contract for the Petroleum Clean-Up Program, as required by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP.) FDEP approved the transfer of unspent funds from contract #GC-628 (fund #8112) to contract #S0484 (fund #8113) in the amount of $108,606. In addition, FDEP has approved interest of $4,527 and unused cash of $3,801, earned during the past nine (9) years to be transferred to contract #S0484, for a total budget increase of $8,328. This budget amendment is needed to balance both funds and close out the grant. Therefore, in accordance with Section 129.06(2)(d), Florida Statutes, it is recommended that the following accounts be adjusted by the amounts shown.
