Crotty -AND- Board of County  Commissioners FROM: Randy Singh, Manager, Office of Management and Budget SUBJECT:    Consent Agenda Item for January 23, 2007 Budget Amendment #07-17, Fund 7236, FY 2006-07 Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) Secure Our Schools Contract #2006CKWX0660 Orange County Sheriffs Office The U.S. Department of Justice awarded the Orange County Sheriff's Office a COPS Secure Our  Schools grant in the  amount of $20,400 for installation of an integrated access  control system.  The Board of County Commissioners approved this grant on December  19, 2006. The estimated total indirect costs to the Board of County Commissioners  associated with this program are $47.  Of this amount, the granting agency has approved a budget  of $0, leaving indirect costs of $47 to be absorbed by the County's General Fund. Therefore, in accordance with Section 129.06(2)(d), Florida Statutes, it is requested that the following accounts be adjusted by the amounts shown.
