(See FLUE Policy 3.4.7 for table depicting desired mixture of land uses with the NAC category)

Specific Intent/Description

All of the "Neighborhood" land use classifications were created to promote the redevelopment of blighted communities. The NAC category is proposed as a linear core district providing a mixture of land uses along main roadways. The NAC district shall provide a transition area to more typical residential areas. The NAC also provides for the development of a vital, pedestrian-oriented district that can support a variety of residential and support uses at an intensity greater than the surrounding neighborhoods, but less intense than the Neighborhood Centers.
