Performs advanced surveying and mapping work and provides supervision for one or more surveying and mapping functions of a specialized nature. This is advanced professional surveying and mapping work of a complex nature with extensive supervisory duties. Work is performed with considerable independence under the general supervision of the designated supervisor. |

| Representative Duties /Assignments |
| |
- Manages the Orange County Survey and Mapping Program.
- Acts as County Expert Witness for eminent domain litigation.
- Reviews and prepares various surveying and mapping products including boundary surveys, legal descriptions, geodetic surveys, subdivision and maintenance plats.
- Supervises professional and technical staff.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

| Minimum Qualifications |
| |
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Surveying and Mapping, Geomatics, Engineering, Georgraphy or other closely related field and six years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.
Licensed by the Florida State Board of Professional Surveyors and Mappers as a Professional Surveyor and Mapper. |
