Performs advanced engineering work. Provides supervision over one or more major engineering activities. This is advanced professional engineering work with extensive supervisory duties. An employee assigned to this classification is responsible for supervising subordinates in one or more phases of engineering. Work is performed with considerable independence under the general supervision of the designated supervisor. |

| Minimum Qualifications |
| |
A Bachelor's degree in a field of study to be specified by the department and four years of experience to be specified by the department.
Must possess and maintain a Professional Engineer license from the Florida State Board of Professional Engineers or be able to obtain it within (6) six months from date of hire. |
