General Functions |
|
This position is responsible for providing resources and assistance to neighborhood organizations, which includes assisting with forming and maintaining an organization, project execution, grant management, problem solving, and strategic planning. The position is also responsible for updating the department magazine and the neighborhood organization directory. |

Representative Duties /Assignments |
|
- Assists with outreach and education programs, workshops, and events.
- Oversees production of NPACE and Neighborhood Organization Directory.
- Updates division website.
- Assists citizens with forming neighborhood organizations.
- Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications |
|
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in the field of Public Administration, Planning or applied Social Science (Business Management, Education, Social Work) and one year demonstrated experience in project management and community outreach; or an equivalent combination of relevant education, training or experience.
Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Reader and Illustrator.
Requires frequent night and weekend meetings and the ability to work with difficult personalities.
