General Functions |
|
Assists in the management of the Division by attending advisory board meetings, completing special projects, and administration of the Ryan White Part A Program, Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) program, and departmental contract management.
Work is performed with independence under the general supervision of a Health Services' Fiscal & Operational Support Manager. Performance is reviewed through observations, conferences, reports and achievement of desired results

Representative Duties /Assignments |
|
- Acts as the Ryan White Part A Administrator and ensures the County is meeting all Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) requirements.
- Acts as the Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) Administrator and ensures the program is meeting all Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and City of Orlando requirements.
- Manages the human immunodeficiency virus/acquired immune deficiency syndrome (HIV/AIDS) database to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
- Represents the County at local and state HIV/AIDS coordination meetings.
- Ensures bid documents are correctly submitted, agency scope of services are correctly prepared, and nonprofit contract deliverables are being met for departmental contracts.
- Assists Divisions with federal/state grant compliance requirements.
- Serves as Division manager in his/her absence.
Assists in the supervision, training, development and counseling of staff members.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications |
|
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Business Administration, Public Administration, Health Services Administration, or a closely related field and five years of finance, budget development, or grant administration experience to include two years of supervisory experience. |

|
Grants management experience. |
