General Functions |
|
Responsible for maintaining an Electronic Security Card Access System including badge creation, monitoring door access, programming cards for various activities, troubleshooting card failure and key control inventory. Work is performed under the supervision of the Electronic Systems Coordinator or other designated supervisor. |

Representative Duties /Assignments |
|
Duties may vary based on area of assignment:
- Maintains an electronic database access system.
- Maintains an electronic key database. Tests and implements working procedures for the Electronic Card Access System.
- Implements, monitors and maintains the door and key numbering system.
- Creates ID card templates. Photographs and issues ID cards to employees, contractors and clients.
- Cuts hard keys and pin cores for doors, padlocks and other locking devices.
- Operates and maintains electronic key boxes.
- Maintains records for all key related issues, locksmith jobs and ID card information.
- Maintains inventory based on event schedules, client work orders and other requests.
- Inputs and completes billings for scheduled events.
- Retrieves data from building security systems and prepares reports as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications |
|
High school diploma or equivalent and vocational training in electronics or computer science and three years experience in building security systems and electronic access control systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Access, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Must possess a valid Driver's License and obtain a valid Florida Driver's License within six months of hire.
Must be able to work flexible schedules as needed, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
