| General Functions |

Performs specialized work in the installation of various types of pavement marking materials.
Work is performed under the general supervision of the Foreman I. Work is reviewed in progress and upon completion.

| Representative Duties /Assignments |
| |
- Operates a paint gun on the longline striper.
- Assists Foreman in layout of pavement marking for new work.
- Operates a thermoplastic striper.
- Lays down cold plastic markings by hand or with and applicator.
- Assists in the loading and unloading of pavement marking materials, sometimes requiring the use of a forklift.
- Assists in the maintenance and repair of longline and thermoplastic pavement marking equipment.
- Installs raised pavement markers in the road.
- Performs other related duties assigned.

| Minimum Qualifications |
| |
High School Graduate or equivalent.
Must be willing and able to perform strenuous manual labor under adverse weather conditions.
Must possess and maintain a valid Florida driver's license with the ability to obtain and maintain a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) for the type of vehicle operated within six (6) months of hire or promotion.
