General Functions |
|
Coordinates Fleet Environmental and Resource Recovery programs and Scheduled Maintenance programs for County vehicles and equipment. |
|
Representative Duties /Assignments |
|
- Maintains and develops new fuel conservation plan elements and reporting systems in conjunction with Fuel System Supervisor.
- Develops and maintains the Fleet Scheduled Maintenance program for vehicles and equipment.
- Coordinates and maintains Fleet Management environmental compliance, registration, and records program.
- Conducts research, data collection, and analysis of information for use in reports, presentations, and meetings.
- Coordinates Fleet Management Resource Recovery Program.
- Establishes and maintains master records, registration of title certificates, and license tags for vehicles; assigns County equipment numbers.
- Coordinates receipt of new rolling stock and disposal of surplus rolling stock.
- Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications |
|
Graduation from high school or equivalent and five years of equipment maintenance experience or equipment management and computer experience or an equivalent combination of experience and post-secondary education.
Preference may be given to applicants with experience or education in environmental science or environmental safety.
