MEDICAL SERVICES COORDINATOR

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt 

General Functions
   Performs highly responsible clerical work requiring independent judgment and knowledge of division policies and procedures.
 
Representative Duties /Assignments
  
  • Supervises the processing of medical records.
  • Maintains inventory and orders office and medical supplies.
  • Verifies bills and submits to Physician.
  • Maintains files.
  • Arranges transportation and makes appointments for inmates to receive medical services.
  • May assist the Medical Administrator in cost control and in the preparation of reports and budgets.
  • Assists Administrator in pharmaceutical ordering.
  • Performs typing as required.
  • Prepares requisitions and purchase orders.
  • Prepares performance evaluations for clerical personnel.
  • Performs related duties as required.
 
Minimum Qualifications
   Graduation from high school or equivalent and three years of progressively responsible clerical experience.
