General Functions |
|
Lead the activities of the Infrastructure area to ensure the County computer technology meets the needs of the enterprise and operates effectively and reliably. Performs administrative, supervisory, and technical work of a responsible nature to ensure appropriate integration among all technical systems.
Work is performed with independence and initiative under the general supervision of the Enterprise IT Supervisor and the Enterprise IT Manager. Performance is reviewed through observations, conferences, reports and achievement of desired results.

Representative Duties /Assignments |
|
Duties may vary based on area of assignment. The following are representative duties, it is not the intent to capture all duties performed by this classification.
- Leads and supervise a team of Infrastructure senior analysts and technicians to layout, install, configure, maintain and recover IT components including but not limited to servers, IT appliances, network, and communication equipment.
- Leads the design, implementation, and maintenance of technology systems infrastructure.
- Develops the timely expansion of the IT Infrastructure.
- Builds resilient and redundant infrastructure that reduces or eliminate failures and downtimes and supports the continuous 24x7 delivery of IT Services.
- Leads the planning, implementation, and upgrades of technology infrastructure maintaining service levels.
- Analyzes assessments of technology infrastructure and audits.
- Participates in the administration and maintenance of all remote monitoring solutions and Infrastructure Management Systems.
- Maintains current technology expertise.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications |
|
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science or Business Administration or closely related field and two years of experience in a multi-location data network environment. |
