| SENIOR HRIS ANALYST |

| General Functions |
| |
Performs professional and technical work managing or leading medium- to large-scale HRIS projects through the system project life cycle. Works on complex business problems, analyzing and evaluating current business methods and procedures for improvements. May provide overall project management for a given HR initiative. May supervise HRIS or Records Management staff in the conduct of daily work.
Work is performed under minimal direction as an internal subject matter expert in one or more related business processes. Work requires independent judgment and is performed under the general supervision of the HRIS Administrator or HRIS Advisor.

| Representative Duties /Assignments |
| |
- Serves as Project Leader and subject matter expert in technologies that support a particular functional area.
- Responsible for HRIS system design, setup and project implementation work in compliance with overall HRIS project goals.
- Responsible for supporting HRIS upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned.
- Consults with functional experts in county departments to develop HRIS implementation strategy, taking into consideration department-specific needs and overall HRIS project goals.
- Works closely with end users and Business Systems Analysts to define requirements for new or enhanced systems.
- Identifies and investigates HRIS procedural problems, issues, and circumstances and provides recommendations for resolution.
- Serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional area and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flow for process improvement opportunities.
- Documents and reports on the use of new or enhanced HRIS techniques, methods, processes and practices.
- Works as a liaison between HRIS partners in ISS, Comptroller’s Office and external consultants.
- Determines security access, evaluates data conversion and conducts data validation to ensure system accuracy, quality and efficiency of HRIS, document management systems or third-party software during system upgrades.
- Designs and develops complex business reporting and analysis through generated reports from databases using ad hoc queries and reporting tools.
- Designs, develops and revises training plans and facilitates end-user training.
Specific Tasks for Sr. Document Management Analyst
- Provides professional and technical leadership in the design, development and daily support of document management and imaging infrastructure applications supported by the Human Resources Division
- Analyzes HRIS and document management processes to develop efficient electronic document management workflows.
- Responsible for document management and imaging system design, setup and project implementation work in compliance with overall HRIS and Document Management project goals. Provides application expertise for post-implementation issue resolution and on-going enhancement development.
- Reviews and creates functional specifications for document management software changes and enhancements. Provides project support and oversight on application enhancements to ensure consistent standards are used among HR systems.
- Identifies and investigates document management and imaging applications procedural problems, issues, and circumstances and provides recommendations for resolution.
- Coordinates document management and imaging applications training program content and delivery with Technical Training Support Team.
- Establishes practices and procedures to ensure compliance with Florida Statutes and Administrative Codes as they relate to electronic records.
- Determines security access, evaluates data conversion and conducts data validation to ensure system accuracy for document management and imaging systems during upgrades.
- Designs, develops and revises training plans and facilitates end-user training.

| Minimum Qualifications |
| |
Sr. HRIS Analyst
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related information technology field and four years of recent professional (FLSA exempt) HRIS development and implementation experience.
Sr. Document Management Analyst
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Records Management, or a related information technology field and four years of professional (FLSA exempt) records management experience to include implementing document management and imaging systems and workflow automation.

Sr. HRIS Analyst
- PeopleSoft HRMS System and Collaborative Application skills (version 8.3 or higher)
- Two years of supervisory experience is strongly preferred
- Project management experience in HRIS
- Proficiency in a variety of HR concepts, practices, and procedures including process improvement techniques
Sr. Document Management Analyst
- Implementation experience with Global 360 application
- Two years of supervisory experience is strongly preferred
- Project management experience in document management and workflow processes
- Proficiency in a variety of HR concepts, practices, and procedures including process improvement techniques
- Certified Records Management (CRM) credential or equivalent qualification in records management
