| General Functions |

Performs professional nursing work with supervisory responsibility of the clinical nursing and/or medical case management administrative activities in providing medical and medical case management services to patients and their families.
Work is performed with considerable latitude allowed for independent judgment and initiative. Work is directed and supervised by a Senior Program Manager and physicians or Program Manager, based on area of assignment. Performance is reviewed through observation of the total results and routine operation of the nursing and/or medical case management units.

| Representative Duties /Assignments |

- Professional nursing, case management and administrative work in planning, organizing and directing nursing and/or medical case management personnel providing patient care in an out patient medical facility and all functions of the unit.
- Supervises and insures that proper nursing care and/or medical case management is being administered according to standing practices and physician orders.
- Supervises and insures communication by nursing staff and medical case managers with private medical providers, patients and primary care physicians to ensure coordination of services for patients.
- Keeps abreast of medical, nursing and case management literature to be aware of new or improved innovations, procedures or practices that would improve patient services.
- Performs administrative tasks such as reviewing and evaluating nursing and/or medical case management staff performance, setting unit goals and objectives and assigning work schedules and location.

| Minimum Qualifications |
| |
Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or closely related field and two years of experience, based on area of assignment, in nursing administration or non hospital medical case management; to include one year of the required experience in a supervisory position; or an equivalent combination of relevant education, training or experience.
Possession of current licensure from the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse.
Strong administrative, organizational and leadership abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
