| General Functions |
| |
Performs advanced administrative work in developing, directing and coordinating a computerized project scheduling and tracking system for use in maintaining time lines and production goals. Develops, negotiates and supervises contracts with consulting firms in area of assignment for the County. Provides oversight and meticulous attention to detail for time sensitive projects and associated tasks that require a high degree of accuracy. |

| Representative Duties /Assignments |
| |
- Performs and/or supervises the development of a computerized scheduling and project tracking system to monitor in-house and contracted projects or other project tracking requirements.
- Maintains computerized scheduling system to ensure time frames are accurate and updated and data is inputted in a timely manner.
- Coordinates with user agencies to obtain accurate project information, set proper schedules and maintains accurate status reports.
- Develops and negotiates contracts for use in selecting firms or other contract services supplied to the County based on area of assignment.
- Monitors contracts with consulting firms to ensure compliance with contract term conditions and time frames. Evaluates the performance of contracted consulting firms in terms of service delivery and time line sensitivity.
- Coordinates the delivery of plans, sketches, legal descriptions, title work, appraisals or negotiation documents to consulting firms.
- Coordinates the flow of consultant work among the required sections, depending on area of assignment, for review and approval.
- Depending upon assignment, computer proficiency operating project or maintenance management software programs.
- Creates reports, memorandums or other correspondence as required.
- Performs other duties of comparable level as assigned.

| Minimum Qualifications |
| |
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Real Estate, Information Management, Engineering or a closely related field and five years of experience in information management, business/public administration, real estate management or a related field, to include three years experience in computerized project scheduling and tracking systems; or an equivalent combination of relevant education, training and experience |

Emphasis in contract negotiation and/or preparation. Experience in PC and mainframe base operations. |
