This position is responsible for supervising technicians who support telecommunications and data communications systems. Responsible for designing infrastructure standards and supervises equipment inventories.
A high level of independent judgment is required due to the complexity of the problems encountered on the scope of planning and analysis required. Makes decisions that affect policies and procedures which have a critical and lasting impact.

| Representative Duties /Assignments |
| |
- Supervise and schedule technicians supporting telecommunications and data communications.
- Design and Implement intra/inter-building wiring systems and practices.
- Design infrastructure standards and enforce the standards.
- Monitor and supervise telecommunication equipment inventories and ensure appropriate stocking levels are maintained.
- Research and evaluate new and emerging technologies pertinent to cabling infrastructure.

| Minimum Qualifications |
| |
Graduation with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field. Five years of experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of telecommunications and data communications systems, to include one year of supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience. |
