This position is responsible for supervising Systems Programmers and Database Administrators in the technical services and computer support environment. Responsible for ensuring platform planning, analysis and design in support of customer requirements.
A high level of independent judgement is required due to the complexity of the problems encountered on the scope of planning and analysis required. Makes decisions that affect policy and procedures that have a critical and lasting impact.

| Representative Duties /Assignments |

- Supervises the installation, maintenance and upgrades of computer operating systems.
- Designs and develops computer system configurations to meet customer requirements and database sizing.
- Designs infrastructure standards and enforces the standards.
- Monitors and supervises computer equipment inventories and ensures appropriate rev levels and statuses are maintained.
- Researches and evaluates new and emerging technologies pertinent to microprocessor infrastructure.
- Develops enterprise storage process and procedures to accommodate all computer platforms.

| Minimum Qualifications |
| |
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or closely related field. Five years of experience in the development, installation and maintenance of computer systems, to include one year of supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience. Relevant experience in data storage management is acceptable. |
