DEVELOPMENT SERVICES FACILITATOR

General Functions
  

This is generalized work providing administrative and technical support in the operation of County land development activities. This position is responsible for performing project and process work related to countywide land development activities.

Work is performed with considerable independence under the supervision of Program Manager. Performance is reviewed through observations, reports and results achieved.

 
Representative Duties /Assignments
  

Duties may vary based on area of assignment. The following are representative duties, it is not the intent to capture all duties performed by this classification.

  • Assists with the management of assigned project and process operations.
  • Provides front-line customer service for land development processes.
  • Processes land development related documents, including plans, applications and records.
  • Assists with management of electronic records.
  • Researches activity related to system records and digital documents for internal and external customers.
  • Performs quality control inspections or audits on land development records.
  • Conducts special project assignments and provides administrative support to the assigned division.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
 
Minimum Qualifications
  

High school diploma or equivalent.

Two (2) years of technical/clerical experience including customer service.

An equivalent combination of education or experience may be substituted.

Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with the general public while discussing, explaining and interpreting departmental policies.

Must obtain Public Notary for land development documents.
