Kathy Putnam is the Senior Public Information Officer for the State Road 408 (East-West Expressway) widening project.

She has extensive experience in community involvement and public information in both the private and public sectors. She has produced community outreach and relations plans for businesses, elected officials and political candidates.

Her specialty is keeping the public informed on the issues and strengthening relationships with the public. Putnam's decade of experience as a reporter helped shape her commitment to communicating with the public honestly, with integrity and with respect.

In her spare time she teaches karate at the Downtown YMCA, is active in her church and serves on local boards. She has lived in downtown Orlando since 1984.
